Arrival at Guwahati . Afterward, proceed to the hotel for your refreshment. Rest of the day is free at leisure by own arrangement. Back to the hotel, stay overnight.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Guwahati. The itinerary includes visits to the Second World War Cemetery, State Museum, State Zoo and Botanical Garden, Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra (a museum showcasing Assam’s diverse culture), and the Regional Science Museum. You will also visit the Navagraha Temple, Vashistha Ashram, and Tirupati Balaji. Next visit Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden. The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden (popularly known as Guwahati Zoo) is the largest of its kind in the Northeast region and it is spread across 432 acre (175 hectare). The zoo is located within the Hengrabari Reserved Forest at Guwahati, India. The zoo is home to about more than 1125 numbers of animals, birds and reptiles representing over 115 species of animals and birds from around the world.Additionally, you have the option to visit Umananda Island, the smallest inhabited island in India, which is home to a Shiva temple accessible only by ferry. Overnight accommodation will be in Guwahati. There is also an optional sunset Brahmaputra River cruise available at an additional cost.
Morning after breakfast, transfer to shillong. En route witness the Umiam Lake or Barapani – is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya in midst of sylvan hills adorned by Khasi pines & peerless beauty. Overnight stay at Shillong

After breakfast drive to Dawki, a village of the Jaintia community whose prime occupation of fishing. The Umngot itself is a prime fishing spot for fishermen of the villages. The river is also famous for its crystal clear water, so clear that when seen from a distance, it appears as if the boat is floating in mid-air! The Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed. This is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. Enjoy an amazing country boat river ride (at additional cost). Drive up to the Bangladesh border.
Later proceed to Mwallynong, the cleanest village in Asia, also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambiance of walking in a well maintained park ! Climb the 80 ft Sky Walk at Mawlynnong village for a bird’s eye view of the Village, the plantations and faraway plains of Bangladesh. You will also be acquainted to the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy.
A trek to the nearby Rewai Village is another interesting activity. Walk down a flight of almost 100 steps to witness nature’s wonder, living-root bridge.
